EYC - European Youth Consensus 2017

EYC is a European network project which culminated in september with a Youth Summit for young people from the ages of 14 to 17 years.

In September, 300 young people in the ages from 14 to 17 years from all corners of Europe were brought together, when the European Youth Consensus Summit for young people took place in Aarhus, Denmark.

The young delegates came from different cities in Denmark and Europe and were all members of their local student councils, youth councils or similar democratically elected organizations. The host of the summit was the Children and Youth Council of Aarhus.

The participants in European Youth Consensus 2017 built professional and social networks across European borders. The delegates had their democratic horizons expanded and learned to cooperate with people from other cultural and linguistic backgrounds other than themselves.
